This class assumes basic skills in things like signal flow, compression, eq, reverb, and effects (as taught in our Effects Synthesis Mix Primer… ) This class will walk you through how one of the BKS instructors approaches a mix and leverages the tools mentioned above. At the conclusion of this course you should expect to:
- assemble a set of tracks using a system favored by one of our instructors (this may vary between instructors)
- make use of mixing tools
- have an understanding of the mix process from front to back
This class requires basic proficiency in a DAW (loading plugins, basic signal flow) This class requires you to have a grasp of mixing tools
This class may be effectively accompanied by an incubator for hands-on contex

- This class meets LIVE on a Discord channel. You can join from wherever you have an internet connection.
- We DON'T record this class. That's what office hours are for.
- You are expected to attend or arrange to get caught up in office hours.
