This class focuses on the vocabulary of music with an emphasis on harmony and chords At the conclusion of this course you should expect to:
- Know basic chord types and function
- Understand song form/structure and identify sections
- Play chords and inversions
- Ask better questions and participate more actively in music theory gym
This class has NO PREREQUISITE (seriously)! Beginners and not-so-beginners alike are welcome. This class may be effectively accompanied by a songwriting incubator and music theory gym
