I’d like to remove my name from the list of self-appointed experts around here. There’s a vacuum in this space and it lies in between two extremes. On one end, we’ve got about 5% of you that are asking really good questions because you don’t know anything.
And there are about 150% of us answering those questions as if we know everything. The problem is the space in the middle should be occupied by intellectual curiosity. And what we don’t see are the people who know a lot who are still asking questions.
I think those are the people you’re going to learn from. And that’s why I built the school. If you’re a resident, office hours are today.
Come talk to us about whatever you want. Don’t be afraid to ask or answer questions. I think we should all aspire to be the kind of people that do both.
