If you go to school to be an audio engineer, you may discover that people don’t actually pay much attention to your degree. This in no way detracts from the time and the work that you did there. What and whether you can be trusted, that’s much more important.
You’re not an electrician. Nobody’s house is gonna burn down if you can’t patch a sidechain. Nobody ever got hurt because somebody made a bad record.
Although I’m sure somebody has a story about this. To clear the bar and get into an audio school, all you really need to do is pay a fee. So instead of talking about a degree, let’s talk about what and how you communicate it.
Your certification is gonna be your ability to communicate at a higher level with your colleagues and your peers. Beat Kitchen, not a trade school. We’re here to help you develop a craft, but we’re also gonna help you develop the way you think and talk about that craft.
And as it turns out, that’s pretty useful. So if you or someone belongs in a Beat Kitchen class, share this post.
