Let me show you something. There are two reasons your mic stand is droopy. One is because youâve been moving it without loosening it and that wears out that little rubber clutch.
You can cut one out of a yoga mat or you can just stop doing that but Iâve got a little hack. For some reason these things come from the factory aligned in such a way that when they go down they loosen. Instead wouldnât it be nice if as you put pressure on them they would tighten.
Now I guess that goes probably in our hardware recording curriculum but this is the kind of stuff that doesnât make it into a class or a video. This is the stuff you pick up by being around somebody and talking to them and so if a kitchen residency sounds right for someone share this post.
