The other day I made a post about how you should always run tape, which you should. Not just because itās a great way to keep you honest, but might help you capture those fleeting ideas and otherwise get away. Now as long as youāre okay with it, I wanted to point out that you can use a cheap little security camera, pop an SD card in the back, and most of these guys will work like little loop recorders, continually cycling and recording over itself.
To take this really next level, somewhere I have an extra dash cam, and a lot of those have a little hazard button, which in this case weāll say is reserved for happy accidents. You click it and it protects the current recording loop, which if you donāt mind the slightly pervy security implications, might make for a really good helper during a songwriting or practice session.
