This Friday, I’ll be kicking off Beat Kitchen’s Digital Marketplace Summit with a free workshop for members. I’ll be discussing social media strategies. The Digital Marketplace Summit consists of alternating classes and workshops.
The classes deal with things like copyright and publishing, composing for media, sync licensing. Our instructors are going to help you understand how to launch and support a release, how to get paid, how to promote yourself. But every other week, we’re going to intersperse it with workshops from our instructors who are going to share their experience in the field.
Real world discussions surrounding soft skills required for live tour support, freelance mixing, running a studio, all the little things that are hard to quantify in a class but are so important to those of us who depend on music for our income. If you’re a member, you can join every other week and participate in the workshops for free. And members can take the full class for half its published price of $600.
