So it’s Groundhog Day, and that’s the day in the movie where you do things over and over again. It’s also the day where we decide if we’re gonna have six more weeks of winter. Now whether or not that’s true, sounds an awful lot like practicing.
So I wanted to remind you of this feeling of a plateau. It means occasionally hitting a wall. Sometimes it means you’re gonna have six more weeks of winter.
Sometimes it doesn’t. Your evolution as an artist depends on you finding the place where you can do it over and over again and still love it. That’s your job.
Your job isn’t getting better. Your job is enjoying the process. The evolution will come.
