For most of you, the whole hardware software debate is overblown. Once how this stuff works, you can make it sing, whether it’s in a rack or in the box. But one difference to consider, in 20 years, if I maintain it, this stuff is gonna turn on.
That’s not been my experience with software. A company that makes your plug-in may go out of business, your operating system may change, licenses expire. On the flip side, this stuff sounds a little different every time I turn it on.
