Hey everybody, you may be aware of our songwriting incubator, but we’ve got some new classes coming up in a new format and I wanted to tell you about it. Production and songwriting belong in separate places. Songwriting incubator will now be part of a three incubator set and they’re designed to hold your hand and get you through the process of bringing a song to the finish line.
The idea is that we’re going to have a songwriting incubator where you can workshop your songs. This incubator is going to focus on prompts, getting songs started, and working through a revision process so by the end of the six weeks you have a song ready to move into production incubator. Production incubator is where we’re going to start talking about how to best support your song with your arrangement.
What are the drums going to be like? Should you double that vocal? At the end of production incubator you should be ready to move into mix incubator.
It’ll function the same way. These classes aren’t intended to be substitutes for things like an Ableton or a Logic core skills, not a substitute for a mixing class, but they’ll be a wonderful supplement to those. And like all our incubators, for members, they’re just going to be 100 bucks each.
