If you need to soundproof, do one of three things. Go out and buy the cheapest stuff you can find. Go buy the most beautiful stuff you can find.
Or go find the stuff thatâs gonna sound the best in your room and then donât put it up right away. And the reason is, itâs not gonna work. Soundproofing something properly, itâs labor intensive and itâs not cheap.
It probably has like two or three more zeros than all of you are anticipating. But the reason you shouldnât put that stuff up right away, the same reason youâre confused about it, your neighbors probably are too. Wait for them to complain, then put up all your nice looking, good sounding stuff and theyâll probably think you made an improvement.
There, I fixed it for you. Share that with somebody who belongs in a Beat Kitchen class.
