If you’re like me, you’re always working and you’re always coming up with song ideas. And you’re probably always taking musical notes. But those notes are useless if you can’t decipher them.
If I sing something like “blah, blah, blah, blah” It’s gonna make no sense when I come back to it. So to give yourself a fighting chance of remembering what your song is supposed to sound like, do what you would do for your bandmates. Give your music note context with tempo and key.
