I made a mistake in a video. Phantom Power runs positive down pins 2 and 3. I’m not going to remove the video, it wasn’t what it was about.
And there’s lots of other good stuff in there. I’ll probably redo it, but let’s get something straight, you and me. I make every effort to put accurate information out here.
And I’ll leave it to you to decide if you think I’m operating in good faith. But if you happen to have a $10,000 ribbon microphone and decide to wire up your own cables based on an Instagram post that I make, and maybe I inverted pin 2 and 3 in the captions, Instagram should not be your last line of defense before you modify your gear or file a lawsuit and jump out of an airplane. That’s what Facebook is for.
