Before you mix in earbuds, I want you to try this. Put in your earbuds and listen to the bass. Now stick them in a little farther and listen again.
Listen, you get to monitor on anything you want. The most important thing is that what they sound like. But equally important is that it’s repeatable.
For me, earbuds aren’t. I’ll reference on them, but if I can’t work on a set of monitors that I know, in a room that I know, or at least one that I trust, earbuds aren’t my first choice. The class where we discuss things like headphones, monitors, microphones, cables.
