If you’re thinking about joining a Beat Kitchen class, or actually if you’re thinking about getting into music production at all, here are three things I don’t care about, and you shouldn’t do there. What DAW are you using? What kind of music are you into?
Are you on a Mac or a PC? Don’t care. Any computer capable of running the tools we supply is to teach things like compression and synthesis is the right computer.
If the style of music you’re into requires you not to know some of the fundamental stuff that we teach, I don’t know what that style is, but you probably shouldn’t be in our class. And like most of our instructors, I’m comfortable in a few different DAWs. However, logic happens to be my first language, and since I’m the one making all the videos, you’ll probably see a lot of logic here.
But any platform capable of hosting the plugins we use to teach is okay by us.
