Once upon a time, there was a kid, and that kid was you. And that kid heard a song, and suddenly they couldn’t hear it enough. You are here, so I know you played it over and over again.
There was something in there, and it felt magical. May feel kind of silly now, but that feeling came from a really pure place. If you can begin to identify whatever it was that delighted that little kid the way it did, And I challenge you to honor that kid, rarify that ingredient, and write that kid a song.
