Your lab for turning a song into a finished production

An incubator is your lab — where you put what you learn in class to work on real material, with feedback from rotating instructors and your peers. But it’s also a forcing function: you can’t mix a track you haven’t produced. So bring the draft you started (in class or the Songwriting Incubator), and the goal is momentum — leave with a production complete enough to push into the Mix Incubator.

It’s context-based instruction: you’ll see a variety of instructors week to week, and usually one or two of you present your work. The puzzles we solve are universally useful, so come whether or not you’re presenting — your feedback is valuable.

Prerequisites: Basic production fundamentals — a DAW you're comfortable in and a track in progress. If you're earlier than that, start with the Songwriting Incubator or a Core class.
