- OFFICE HOURS: spoke about Egypt Their setup Live versus recording Getting better low end Saturation and dynamic eq tricks for better low end Microtiming in a mix Panning The beat challenge Guitars and basses Favorite plugins and tape emulations
- INSTRUMENT-GYM: Since it was just Varun we did discuss rhythms & stickings. We also did some one on one talking about and listening to his music 👍
- PRODUCTION-GYM: Scary Monsters by David Bowie, track breakdown
- OFFICE HOURS: Troubleshooting Discord w/Nathan 👍
- OFFICE HOURS: Listened to two songs ahead of him attending a songwriting retreat. We went over strategies to get the most out of collaborating with others. Examples are what to prepare for the session and what are the pros and cons of scripting parts vs allowing space for others to come up with ideas for your song.
- INSTRUMENT-GYM: Speed drills, hand warm ups, lead playing technique, hammer on pull offs, tapping, hand positioning, fingering, and the C Major Scale. (For guitar).
- OFFICE HOURS: I helped alee with drum ideas and we chatted about the importance of practice and not over thinking things, I got to know Space and their goals
- THEORY-GYM: Our House' —Madness A listen to a classic with some unusual chords, some cool guitar tones, and an unexpected key change. Is the mixolydian mode underrated?
- OFFICE HOURS: We talked about different ways of releasing songs, platforms, content, and Dewi helped Alee with a business idea for music.
